I love fall. Fall is in the air. I can see it; I can smell it. But I can't feel it yet; thank you global warming. Although the last few days I've been slightly cooler, which was highly welcomed.
Everyone thinks I'm crazy for liking fall, but what's up with that? The fashion is great, the food is great, the temperature is great -- why on earth would anyone want to be stuck in a perpetual sweltering sticky summer? I sure as hell wouldn't.
Things I'm looking forward to this fall are:
*Sitting through at least one freezing football game, just because it's like old times.
*Drinking hot coffee, because I desire the warmth.
*Pumpkin pecan ice cream from Bruster's.
*Being able to wear blazers without getting heatstroke.
*Being able to get into black cars without getting heatstroke.
*Not having to worry about getting heatstroke at all.
*Thanksgiving, because the food is great.
And lastly...
*Hallowe'en!! I love Hallowe'en. I'm obsessed and will always be. It's not just a kid's holiday or the Devil's day or whatever. It's an ancient tradition -- look it up.
So yeah, Fall is my favourite season and I plan on enjoying every minute of it. Peace.
