I Didn't Fall of the Face of the Earth! *gasps*

Okay, so I'm shaking the dust off this old thing (and my brain) and I'm going to be updating more frequently. How can you be so sure? The answer is simple: I've got a lot to say.

Moi

I'm nineteen now. I wasn't nineteen when I last wrote, which is proof that I need to write more.

My birthday was awesome. The festivities lasted more than thirty-six hours. I went to two nights of shows, I got to see my family, I hung out with my friends, I was given a paper rose AND a t-shirt by a guy I'd only just met, I met a bunch of new/cool people; it rained and it was awesome. I played in the rain...how cool is that? I hadn't done that in ages. And people splashed me with puddles and I was sopping wet, but it was all in good fun.

Aside of the awesome music and company, the highlight of the evening was Emily getting inked. She let everyone write on her. It was priceless and tres cool of her. I'm not gonna forget that anytime soon.

I've started college since I last wrote. It's much better than highschool, everything about it is. And I was surprised how easy it was to get back in the swing of things after more than a year off from school. So...um...yay.

TV

I'm still pissed they cancelled Gilmore Girls. I'll never properly get over it, but ah well. There's no use in pining for it too terribly. Heroes will return soon! The new season looks pretty good, from what I can tell. I'm highly intrigued by the fact that Takezo Kensei is played by a white guy (unless that has changed). I don't know whether they're going to make him look Japanese,or whether it's important that he's white and living in fuedal Japan, or what, but it should be interesting.

New shows I want to see are: Pushing Daisies and that reaper one on the CW. Both of those looked great.

Complaints

I'd like to complain about the fact that I was about to buy some awesome red shoes the other day and they took them off sale. Why would the store do that to me? I was just about to buy them, but you know what? I'm not interested in payinjg $89.99 for shoes. I'm really not. Even if I had all the money in the world, I'd think that was a little pricey unless there was gold in them there shoes.

The grunge is slowly gripping humanity around here. Everyone is getting sick. I'm just now getting better, but it seems those around me are gettng worse. Very sad. I just hope the flu stays far, far away. I hate the flu. My temperature got up to 106f last time and apparently, I could've died. How scary!

And the phone keeps ringing. And it's telemarketers begging for us to buy a timeshare in Saskatchewan. Do I honestly look like the sort of person who wants to buy a timeshare in Saskatchewan? Do I? I'm sure Saskatchewan is a lovely place and all, but I have no incliniation to buy a timeshare there. Sorry.

But on second thought, I'm not sorry. I shouldn't apologize to people who start calling at 7am and don't let off until 9. They should be on their hands and knees begging my forgiveness, but they're not. The world is a stupid place. Priorties are skewed and people have no common sense of decency anymore. I wish it was still the old days. I'm not old, but I would've fit in then. Can't you picture me in a poodle skirt?
